Any suggestions on what to use to recover my Sendas seat, and also where to get it from.

Needs to be black, relatively cheap, oh and waterproof Razz

Old leather jacket from a charity shop, stretch it over and pop-rivett it under the seat base. Looks good Thumbs Up

Thanks for the suggestions, but can no one think of a suitable place to get some material that would do?

Leather jackets a good idea, however might struggle to find one big enough, and it would still look a bodge Razz

It is just vinyl covered cloth. Ask around a few local upholsterers.

Costs us about £45 to get a seat professionally recovered.

Cost £125 to get the Bandit seat reshaped with a gel insert and then recovered.

All the best

Cheers mate, how much am I looking out for the vinyl covered cloth?
Also, would a staple gun do do you think for attaching it to the seat, I have no idea what the seat is made of to be honest.

Get a new seat Laughing

By the sounds of the cost it is to recover a seat. Surely it would be cheaper to get a good condition one off Ebay?

No?

Well, possibly.

However I want a plain black one, and the ones for this model of the senda have these stupid patterns down the side which match the ones on the side panels. Therefore without the stickers on the panel they look stupid.

You want some vinal, it can be got cheep enough from upholsterers - no more then £20 for a bit to do your seat I would hope.

When you actually attache it to the seat you want some spray adhesive and an electric staple gun (the manual ones generally dont go through the seat - this is assuming the seat base is plastic and not mettle).

I've done a couple of seats and have very good results. Just take your time and work your way round the material, front to back then side to side, each time making sure the material is pulled to stop any creases forming.
