Just wondering if I might be on the wrong forum, having read some of the posts it appears you are mostly race reps and learners... any custom riders?

Don't get me wrong I'm not a purist just wondering... I ride rats and harleys mostly.

Arrow Yamaha XV535 Virago (customised)
Arrow Suzuki Bandit (streetfightered)
Arrow Kawasaki ZX9R (standard plastic rocket)

There are some cruiser and custom riders about the forum, just not very many. That pretty much matches the riders of the UK imo.

I've only a dinky 125 cruiser type thing, but I'll probably end up on a GPz500 if I can't find myself a decent smoto when I've done my test.

If I had my own way, a customed virago would be sitting in my garage. Just don't have the money or garage I'm afraid.!!

I'm not one of those types that'll knock a TYPE of bike before trying it, like so many in here. Had a 125 cruiser before and am longing for a bigger cc one, just not as my primary mode of transport

am currently commuting a tricked up Harley sportster into the City... been off it twice in 3 months... not a good start and a damn expensive habit ... particularly as I have a £650 excess slapped on my policy!

All my bikes are 'customs'; though some would suggest it's the ratty end of customisation. None are cruisers though; never seen the point myself, but then many have never seen the point of hooning around a track.

As of tomorrow my r6 shouldn't be considered a race /replica/ Smile.

I'm more into the custom bike scene and rallies than race bikes and track days, but there's room for all of us on the roads.

I've had bikes for the last 22 years, but only ever owned three. A CG125, XS250 and my current bike, an XS50 chop.

The chop's been off the road for a while (kids and a house move), but I'm starting work on it in the next few weeks Very Happy

Cheers,

Byrnie.
