Speedfight 2
Gillera Runner 175cc engine conversion... Razz

It also has Proper forks and not the Lame Speedfight inverted Suspension swing arm which unballanced the whole bike.

Any ideas on the structure work geting the engine to fit into the scooter?
I wouldnt mind doing it to my speedshite...

Um...not very. Is it just me or does the fact that it's a freakin' scooter discount any 'cool' factor added by engine mods, neons, handle bar tassels, etc.? Wink

Rolling Eyes

Fair enopugh. I did ask for it Laughing

Well I personally think its awsome because I know for a fact that a Gillera engine is 10 times better than a Peugeot engine.

The forks are also Much better...

But everybody to their own. Cool

And I like it. Wink

Ok Ok. Its a scooter! Laughing

Its still pertty cool In my opinion. And as it says abouve.

Any ideas on how the engine was fitted. Would it just drop straight in or would I need to find a welder if I want to try it out. Cool

Right hand bar end is missing Wink

Looks quite nice though, not keen on the chrome panel under the seat.. looks a bit tacky IMO. The new forks look a lot better than the peugot ones though!!

Nice paint job.
But it still has the cheap speedfight forks and crappy engine Laughing

This has a Gillera 175cc engine. Owner claims It got 100mph on the rollers.
Which is belieivable because Divuks Dragster fetched 100+mph on the rollers.

The best Speedfight is a dead one! Sorry, but i had a speedshite 100cc, and i wouldnt want my worst enemy to have to ride one! The engine is pathetic, its only quick at seizing up! The front suspension on the speedfight was also really very bad, and wouldnt allow me to make the most of my whole 11.5bhp and 70mph!

I know. but he said the best speedfight is a dead one.

I think not. Id rather have a standard restricted Speedfight than a dead on. Atleast the standard one will do 30mph.

There is no such thing as a Gilera 175cc engine.

Mallossi make a 172cc Kit to fit a 125cc engine which vastly improves power.

Thats probably what the guy means then. Unless he has imported an unpopular 175 kit.

It is a 125cc with a cylinder kit. He said. but he said 175cc. My guess is that its more than likely a 172cc MHR kit.

Still, would piss over a speedfight 100 Laughing
And my 70!

And i bet the radiator resivoir dosent bubble out antifreeze like mine. Embarassed
