While on a recent trip to brugge in belgium i noticed that the mopeds that they use have 3''x3'' (roughly) yellow squares where the registration plate should be, some had nothing! Shocked

hi that would be a yellow plate they are scooters classed as an A calls scooter which can be riden without a licence by the age of 16 and have a top speed of 25kmph which is slow the other class is B class which go 45kph. I used to live over there the law on scooter are strict they test your bikes on rollers to test the speed

A friend of mine from Belgium didnt need one on his Derbi Senda. Basically, mopeds arent meant to go fast enough to break the law, so theres no need for a plate. Razz

Netherlands have a really tiny plate though, most of the time they're hidden away somewhere around the back wheel. Looks quite good, looks even better without one at all. Cool
