I own a Suzuki GSXR600 K1 model and i am only getting about 90 to 100 miles when riding not on the motorway but in the inner city where i live.
Is this normal or could there be a problem with my bike fueling?

I have a scorpion roal legal exhaust fitted to the bike which is the only mod i can see that may have an effect on the fueling but i have been told that road legal exhausts do not affect fueling in any way.

Your views please?? Confused

the tank range of 90 to 100 miles is before the petrol light comes on.

How come no-one mentioned this before?! Are all sportsbikes so crap at the mileage they do? Shocked How can you sell a vehicle that can only do 100 miles to the tank?!

That sounds about right. You should be getting 35-45mpg on a K1. Seeing as you should have to go through only three gallons or so before the light comes on, 90-100 isn't too bad. Idea

that's probably about right - when i first had mine i was getting 100-110 before the light came one - and that was mainly lanes etc although wouldn't have been sitting in teh red all the time

sounds about right for city stuff though

I normally get about 130 - 140 miles out my tank before I see the light. Depends how you ride really.

I got the Scorpion with my bike and I've never heard it without. It does sound pretty good though. Thumbs Up I don't think they are too expensive.
