Derestricting the Mito

Hi all,

Does any one know where i can get a full Mito de-retrictor kit from?

the garage i got the bike from 4 years ago, don't sell Cagiva's anymore (since the factory had a bad turn and folded late 2003)

they will derestrict the bike, but they said they mught have trouble getting some of the parts E.G. the airbox, if anyone knows where i can get it all from, or and equivilant that i could use, i'd be grateful.

just a little fed-up of having the bike restricted now.

Hi

Try Mito Mondo. They should be able to get the bits for you easily.

The factory never folded, they just closed down production for a while. Italian law is good for keeping companies going rather than just letting the vultures in at the first sign of trouble.

cheers guys, e-mailed mitomondo, so hopefully i'll get a reply soon, and also found one a little bit closer to me -in East Leigh

Hopefully i'll be able to get the bike de-restricted soon enough!

You local place will just get parts from Three cross which are rather useless, so you'll be best going to Mito Mondo and supplying the parts to a garage if you need someone else to do it or doing it yourself.

yeah, this is true, the dealer will be doing the work, he's just advised me to get the parts elsewhere

i read..and also found one a little bit closer to me -in East Leigh.

were i live is very close to a place called EastLeigh.. so when i read that i just thoult it was the town near me.. oh well.

hehe, nah, i was just saying it appears to be the closest one to me, altho its about 80 miles away, but its ok, been in contact with Rob at MitoMondo, he has the parts for me
