Not suggesting or arranging a BCF ride out so i kept this off outings and excursions, plus more people check this board!

Basically i am wandering if you guys have anywhere you would suggested heading to/staying for me and my dad in the summer when we go on our 'if this goes well its europe next' 3-4 long weekend out on the bikes.

Basically i am on a CBR600 (never would have guessed!) and he is on a VFR800i, so both pretty sporty while remaining comfortable. And solid enough not to be falling apart on us.

Our rough idea was -

1th Day - New Forest Area, camp out there and find any nice roads/interesting places.

2th Day - Head right down into devon/cornwall type area's. Probably find a travel lodge or B&B.

3th Day - Up north through to north wales (used to own a cottage there, nearish to Bangor).

4th Day - Homeward bound to sunny ol' Milton Keynes

We are looking on going in the summer soon as a good weather weekend comes about, so anywhere in peticular people would suggest. Either bikes/roadwise, somewhere to stay, or just interesting things to go and visit!

Cheers

I would go for:

Day 1: Spank the bikes arse up the M6 to the lake district. Stay somewhere nice and scenic.
Day 2&3: Have a play in the lakes, do the classic hill passes, go to Devils Bridge on Sunday.
Day4: Batter it back down the A1/M1 after having some morning fun crossing the pennines to the East coast on the twisties

P*ss off Northerners, you may have nice roads, but you don't have the warmth and the Sun we have down here! Middle Finger Laughing
