I used to ride on ice just like that myself but with a CR250. It takes some getting used to. Mainly the fact that you're on two weels on ice. Believe it or not you get better traction on ice than you do on pavement or dirt. That's with the studs of course.

BTW, the "spikes" in the tires are called "studs". The good ones are even carbide tipped. Very similar to what is put in tracks on snowmobiles. The downfall is you start to loose them after a little bit of riding. You gotta stop now and then to tighten them up.
