Hey,

Today I have been messing about with my bike and decided to take the exhaust off, when putting it back on I noticed a little screw on the underside of the end pipe so I started to unscrew it and this slightly yellow liquid started to come out it wasn’t like oil but I don’t think its water either.
I have tightened the screw back up and I am just wondering what it is Question Should I drain it, Should I leave it or has some one urinated in my exhaust ?

If the screw is on the can, it is for taking the baffles out (can't think of any other reason for a scew to be there). The runny substance is most likely just a mixture of 2 stroke and rubbish that the engine spits out. Might be a good idea to give the baffles a clean.

How do you clean the baffles?

Set it alight?

A strong caustic soda solution is normally the trick. Bung up one end (securely!), fill it with the solution and leave for an hour or two. Drain and let dry, and that should be that.

How you dispose of the litre or two of caustic soda solution is another matter. The toilet should be fine I should think.
