Paint job opinions

I did a thread before turning my bike "yellow", but i gave in on that and it ended up silver. Heres the results:

Now the problem is, the stickers. I think the big yamaha one is way too big for the bike. One side has it on and one doesnt. Heres a comparison.

With:

What do you think. Leave it or try and take the yamaha off?

Hmm, either / or. Both look good. A remarkeable improvement. I would keep the yamaha sign but try and find something a little bit smaller. Thumbs Up

I think the silver takes away the cheapness and makes it look a little bigger.

Looking much much better than before. A huge improvement. As for the stickers I would say what Instigator said and try and find a smaller one. That would be ideal. Well done on the paint job ace Thumbs Up

Yeh using cans of holts paint. Looks better IRL, ive got the finish looking nice and shiny.

I emailed the guy i got the stickers from and i think hes gonna do me some smaller ones, about the size in between the big ones and the little ones.

It looks really good. easiest way to get the stirckers off is poor boiling water on them Thumbs Up

keep the small ones and remove the large yamaha stickers

You should not pour boiling water on a bike Rolling Eyes

Use alchol on a soft cloth do dissolve the glue.

Oh, and yes, that Yams sticker seems way to large to me.

I was in the paint/ bodywork game for some time and trust me on this............. HOT water, not boiling, hot from HOT tap and pour it over the sticker, a hot air gun could blister the paint.
Don't put solvent near it if its a cellulose from a rattle can.
The silver looks good, the little YAM symbol looks good BUT the big Yamahahaha sticker is waaaaaaay to big. Good attempt Thumbs Up

Actually ive already spilt like half a tank of petrol on it when i tilted the tank forgetting the cap was off. It went all over and i thought it was ruined but it wiped off fine so...
