Ive been looking for an alarm for my bike with remote start and other features, and ive found this one on ebay (link below) What im wanting to know is does it seem 'dodgy' and also it states
"American microchip technology" is this like the ntsc and pal sort of thing? will it work on my bike?

I don't know about that one, but I have a cheapo alarm from eBay.
It's pretty much useless, I just leave it in there so people at least think there is a working alarm. |

I think there's another type on there, Lion I think (search = motorcycle alarm remote start).
Anyhow, for about £20 why not just suck it and see?
You can always rip the thing out and sell it on if you're not happy.
Only hassle is if you make a pigs ear out of your bike's wiring fitting it. Shouldn't be too much hassle though if take time and get prper connectors & solder.

Mine's got remote start and remote cut out. While trying to get those features to work I managed to damage my starter relay. Took me ages to find another one.
I'm not convinced that the remote start would work, as I don't see how it can turn on choke and give it a bit of throttle when starting. |

Yeah thats what i was thinking, my bike starts by pulling in the clutch and hitting the starter, if i did have a remote start, how would i get round the clutch ?
