Insurance with 3 points

I got a online quote this morning from bennetts but i forgot to say that i had 3 points (SP30), the quote came to £188. I then did another quote with all the same details except i added the 3 points. To my suprise it was cheaper (£176). Naturally i thought something was wrong so i called them. The women said that it was right! Apperantly if you have got a conviction you are less likely to get another one because if in your first 2 years of driving you get 6 points you lose your licence. So young riders with a clean licence are a greater risk

I was under the impression that normally insurance companies will not take notice of less than six points (well on cars). Any thing over six points and insurance starts climbing skywards.

(Obviously certain points will concern insurance companies more than others).
