How can I test the seals havnt gone on this? If you take the lines off and put your finger over the end there is pressurewhen you pull the lever. but when you let go it draws air back in (from the lines)
Next time you pump the lever it pumps out that air it just sucked in from the lines. It keeps doing this and no fluid comes through.

Any ideas?

It's a bit early, but that sounds right to me -

When you pull the lever the piston pushes fluid (or air) down the lines. When you let go of the lever the piston returns and the fluid (or air) comes back into the reservoir - otherwise your brakes would stay on. Get rid of the air, replace it with fluid and you've got a normal operating system.
