Are their any websites that let you get quotes online that are accurate? Most online quotes for cars i've done give you quotes that are over 500 quid higher than what they are when you ring them up.

who has the best prices at the moment?

To be honest most online quotes are crap, for all vehicles.

The best thing to do is look at the online quotes then which ever is lowest, ring them and see if they can get it any lower.

Try confused.com, it does most of the hard work for you, then ring the company which gives the lowest quote, that is what i did, although for a car not bike Thumbs Up

Like anthony said, most online quotes are rubbish.

Im 'assuming' you're a young new rider (only by what your quote was, because it was similar to what i was getting when I tried to insure my bike)

I went with CIA Insurance 3yrs ago with the follwing details: 17yr old, KMX125, West London = £370 TPFT. Hasn't let me down so far.

Good luck.

27yo on an H100 in the North East of England, no NCB, licence held for 8 years. £70 TPO, no excess. Razz

I still think this is a rip-off, they refused to add this bike to my existing multi-bike policy as it is under 200cc. (It cost me a whole £11.85 to add a GPZ500s to it.) Oh well, working up a nice 'spare' no-claims bonus now.

Most of the 100cc 2-stroke bikes (Honda H100, Yamaha Rxs100, Suzuki GP100) are group 2 insurance and faster than they have any right to be. You should get a good runner for around £300
