Are Aprilias RS125 capable of going long distances / running for many hours? I've heard that their engines are quite fragile. I'm talking about at least 400mile distances / 6-8 hour trips.

in my personal opinion you should be fine if the bikes serviced on time and your useing good quality two stroke oil only thing i would recomend is dont hammer it for to long so have a little blap then cool off for 10 min also maybe one or two stops along the way wouldnt hurt just let it have a little brake lol

I would say no, as you are using the plural of trips.

Yeah, you could probably knock out a 400mile journey once or twice a year, with good servicing beforehand. Also with long regular breaks to let the motor cool down.

If you want to do that kind of distance, do your test and get a 500.

Two-strokes aren't really suited to sitting for long periods at a constant engine speed (or revs), which is what you will be doing on a long trip on motorways etc.

Take the longer twisty route. Thats what the strokers are for anyway.. Twisted Evil
