I've had it since last August but could never really be bothered to take pics of it, until last week when i cleaned it and thought that it deserved to be posted on this site Smile

All bikes deserve to be on this site mate.

Nice set of wheels in a rather stunning colour scheme.

Whats the specs mate...

Top speed etc

Gilera hit a good chord when they made the DNA its a nice easy ride and looks quite good.

hey guys, sorry i've took so long to post back but i've been away.

Its a 2003 model, top speed of about 55mph on the flat. New set of rollers in January give it brilliant accleration up to 35mph then pretty good up to 43mph (ish) then it slowly climbs to about 55mph(ish) but this is indicated so its probably the usual 10% slower in real life. Yea it is fully de-restricted, with a Technigas exhaust and a Mallosi race variator. Beats all other 50cc with no effort at all Smile so no need to race.

I ride it everyday to college rain or shine, plus other rides out when I can.

I know its only a scooter and a lot of people slag them off but I love it because at 16 its the coolest piece of gear you can have and it gets me from A to B in no time!

Thanks for the comments btw!!

Looks cool, I like the shape of the DNAs Smile

Do you know what that RS24 sticker means on it? My mate has them all over his ped, the previous owner put them on, and we don't know what they're about. Appologies if it's a really stupid question, could just be us being thick...

I want to post some pics up of my ped, but I'm afraid people will take the p**s a bit Laughing

I'm not too sure what the stickers are about, again the previous owner put them on. Lucky for us, the previous owner is a member of this forum... so i'll ask him when i see him next....

Great bike. I had one for a just over a year.
Good thing is that the plastics are cheap cos I got rammed by a Ford Escort on mine.
Other than that 55mph is easily achieved on these little monsters. Only crashed it once myself on the way to Rivington Barn, into a field. Oh I was a mucky pup that day...

the RS24 as kye said is an adjustable suspension - i had one on my runner which is now on my NRG - £180

if you dont have one and plaster your scoot in sticks then thats just sad Rolling Eyes Laughing
