Hi,
I just wanted to glean some knowledge out of the more experienced members of the forum.
As you know I have a TT600 that is for want of a better word, a streetfighter.
The trouble is, the coolant expansion tank is vaast, and attached to the side of the radiator. Not only is it exposed in case of mishap, it is also hideously ugly.
Now, from what I can remember of the diagram for my cooling system, it consists of a tube on the bottom of the tank going into the middle of the radiator, and a tube from the top of the tank from the radiator overflow.
Could I simply move these pipes and shove them into a red bull can or something? </tarty> Obviously the lower one would have to be submerged in the coolant, and the upper one just held in place at the top if the can.
Would this work, or am I talking nuts? ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F
Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
