Clutch lever for bike test

Im taking my bike test on my bike but the ball on the end of the clutch lever has been broken off since like ever. I find it better to hold without it anyway so i left it like that.
Will the examiner let me do the test without it, i know they can be picky.

Probably not, garages fail the MOT for that so its probably a no unless you have wicked blagging skills.

Unlikely. Especially if the brake lever has a ball on the end so they look different. Im not sure it makes a difference in the real world, but thats what the law says so......

I'd be extremely suprised if they didn't let you do it for that reason.

Examiner hardly looked at my bike, although I did draw the line at the race can (I took that off for the test).

my bike never got a proper check over, and it even had a race can fitted for my testing, which was a bit of a suprise .
