Hi guys, just a quick question to test your vast biking knowledge.
Ive found a guy who is selling a Motorised power valve kit for a TZR, its one off the 4DL italian import model, with the electronic CDI control bit built in to the servo motor itself, and he thinks it may fit my 2RK model. Is this likely?? Its got 2 wires which have a multi-plug on the end, and 1 single wire on its own. Is this the same sort of set-up for a 2RK model??

Any help would be great.

Cheers.

I cant remember how mine is set up (wires) but it sounds correct.

However from the picture it looks as if the cables are not long enough, as it has to reach from above the coil (where mine is) down to the Pv.

You must also have a bracket to attatch it too, unless the original tzr comes with one already.

It will be different of course, but the fact is the black box on the standard one is at least about 3x4 inches and no way will it fit in the motor box.

However there is a large difference in electronic engineering between 1987 and 1995/1996.

Last time i checked bidding was at £70, which is a lot of money if it doesnt fit.
