Anyone going to Thorney Island show this year? its the perfect show for me, American cars, bikes, run what ya brung and a bit of heavy metal. Can't remember the dates, I'll go get them...

July 8-10, over the weekend. We'll be cruising over in the Buick, probably.

Believe it or not, it takes us two hours to get their because of the extortionate and slow ferry. Did you go a previous year then?

No, not really, we just have to get off the Isle of Wight and the ferry takes an hour and always comes to about £40. They'll probably take one look at the 18 foot of Buick and charge us extra Rolling Eyes

If anyone is ever down on the Island and would want to see the club we have down here (about 13 cars in all) we meet in Bembridge airport on the last Sunday of every month. There is usually a wealth of interesting American metal down there Very Happy
