This is just a little strand to find out who's going to Rivington barn
at the weekends.

Where Do We meet?

If you don't know the way to Rivington barn it's between Chorley & Bolton. If you come down the M61, come off at junction 6, go through Horwich, take the turnoff for Rivington lane on the right and Rivington barn is about a mile down the lane. (see map)


If you want the scenic route follow the green dots they'll take you over some of the best roads around with some
excellent views & lots of twisty bits. On a clear day you can see Blackpool tower!

We get up there quite often on a Sunday, but can't give you dates and times cos it tends to be a spur-of-the-moment thing.

However - me: short fat bird with glasses, red & black EL250 with missing sidepanel, black textile jacket with reflective bits on it, occasional fairy lights (don't ask). Him: tallish bloke with longish hair & usually some variety of hat on (aprilia baseball cap is current trend), red VT500, red yamaha R6 jacket.

Will look out for you next time we go!

I go most sunny sundays around lunch time. Wear a retro look alpine jacket/ black arai. The other half wears red/black textile jacket/ white arai.
Look left to see bike.

I go the odd lunchtime too, dressed like a fat(ish) 'Power Ranger' and riding a red 'XX' with reg ending 'XX' so if you see me gimme a prod and say 'Hi'

hey all,
i didn't see any one there today.
I did get there a little late though.
usually i park next to the front entrance. The rg is easy to spot, it has a split in the front fairing from a 60mph engine sieze + slide down my local dual carrigeway.

im always the only one there too an its bright yellow so i wont be hard to spot

I have been a couple of times, each time with a different passenger and sometimes with other bikes. Don't see what the fascination of the place is to be honest other than that it's a meeting point before rides .

because its my birthday is comeing up soon, my parents took me to heine gerike and bought me some new gear.
ill now be in a silver one piece with a silver and blue helmet.
