Just wondering, how would one go about removing a set of heated grips (Oxford, if that makes any difference), preferably without destroying them?
With standard rubber grips, they are flexible enough to pry open and squirt in some WD40...but with these heated grips, they're kinda solid.
Any suggestions welcome. Ta. ____________________ TiN

Heya.
Get yourself a can of hairspray. This removes the grips easy. Better the WD40, because it dries up and doesnt leave any oil for it to fall of again.
When you put them back on, use hairspray again, (spray bar nicley) put it on, and leave it. Hair spray will stick it back down very well again. (dries and stays very sticky)
Good luck! If you must, lift the edges with a screw driver, then spray the hair spray in. Then continously grip and twist the grip untill it loosens. ____________________ Big Kawasaki ZXR 400 project here:
