Did anyone watch bikes aloud when they were interviewing those people about the fastest ring of the M25. under 43mins!!!!

that seems a bit crazy to me, but some people are.

Has anyone ever seen these type of people racing around. I supose it mostly happens in the early hourse of the morrning.

One i was at the lights at around 2am in the summer going to the shops for some of my friends and this crazy R1 went straight passed me at about 50-60 doing a wheely through the red light.

any stories?

Bear in mind that he is probably dead now. Pulling wheelies through a red light is stupid. I don't want to sound like a moaning old git cos I do stupid things on my bike from time to time, as does everyone, but that is just asking for it.

Not saying it wasn't dangerous, but that sort of situation does depend on many things.

If all the junctions had good visibility that they were empty, then it could be less dangerous than many other 'legal' manouvers on the road.

Back last summer, my road is pretty much straight and very empty at night - you had ther ruff-ryda types on their R6's and Gixxers zooming down 2 abreast at 1-3 in the morning. You'd hear inline 4's with race cans screaming down. I guess the road was clear, but they simply had no consideration for its residents.

Mind you, come summer, London's full of all sorts - From what i've been told by a friend who lives near the A41 Bypass at Edgware, Hayabusa's and other bikes- inc peds sprint between the lights and do top speed runs. Road's relatively straight and no static gatso's there. I'd like to give it a view just to see what it's like as i feel that they'll be no harm done on an empty stretch of DC way at night.

Btw Pocket_Rocket, which part of London are you from, you're blob's pretty close to mine.

I stayed in edware over the weekend,(used to live there, Dad still does) there are loads of bikes about, especially at night??? I hate doing any kind of speed when there's other traffic even bikes, I try to watch everything around me and lose my concentration, I did do 170 on a deserted strech of the M6 on Thursday night. First time on a 3 laned motorway, I had to take advantage. Twisted Evil

Dark Prince.

G.R. did the same stretch but at night, with less traffic and a much more powerful/tuned and modern bike. Not surprising he beat the time. Still stupidly impressive though.

I think the Dark Prince, a French man, was either on a ZX9r, ZX7r or perhaps a ZX6r, but I doubt it was the ZX6r.

Dark Prince is now dead.
