problems with zxr400

with restrictors in it started bogging down as i was riding. then it got worse but occasionly kicked in and worked fine for a few minutes then went back to its shitty bogging and very slow riding.

took the restrictors out (thanks zxr400er) does the same...sometimes works (and is a lot faster) but then boggs down again, stalls whenever i stop, sounds awfull. it doesnt bog then work its constantly making a droning noise whether i give it some throttle or not.

does anyone know what it could be or i could try....thanks

I'm not an expert, but it sounds like you need to get it re-tuned, sounds like its over-choking or something and carbs out of sync.

i had my mine removed it was re-tuned and ran perfect.
