Anyone seen somewhere that I can get a set of clamps to convert my GPZ500s to take standard renthal type handlebars?

They have wierd brackets on them that bolt down onto either side of the top of the yoke, each of which takes a seperate bar fixed by a big setscrew through the end. I want to have it so I can fit a set of desert bars.

I am pretty sure M&P used to do them but I can't see anything in their catalogue this time.

I fitted bar risers to my RF by taking the dummy top yoke off and bolting them through it's mounting holes - you may need to drill your top yoke to do this, I'm not certain that's a good idea to be honest. You're experienced enough to be able to make that decision and make a good job of it but I wouldn't advise a mechanical newbie to do it Wink

Got my risers from the Busters stand at the NEC, about £30 IIRC. There's bags of meat on them so I've been able to experiment by cutting 1/4" at a time off the bottom till they suited me. Fortunately all my cables still reached but I did need a slightly longer top hose.
