Hit a cat on a pushbike once, it lived though. shame.
Run over a few pre-killed rabbits, gave minor wobbles or moved the front wheel a few inches either way. Just dont panic or slam on the brakes. You have to make the choice, fluffy thing or you?!

Had a few narrow misses with blackbirds flying out of hedges, and phesants (stupid things sit in the road and look at you as you come towards them).

Only ever gone over stuff that's already been flattened, feels just like an upside down pothole really Wink

A sparrow headbutted my lid once, and a blackbird decided to end it's life in my radiator but it was a futile attempt to knock me off.

Crushed a pigeon the other day Sad It had a broken wing i think because it was flapping about in the middle of the road. As i moved to avoid it, the bloody thing blew smack bang under my front tyre, square on, there was a crunch and that was it, so it was instant. Bike gave a wobble Confused but me and the bike are good... can't say the same for the bird...

Had to duck a pidgeon today funny enough. Worst was when we hit a badger (in the car thank god) on the way to newcastle, what a f*cking thunp it went, lucky we hit it with the wheel and not the bumper. My boss hit a dead badger in his old 205 gti and it took his bumper off, theyre hard bastards even when theyre dead!

Only animal I've come off after hitting is a pheasant. The bastard thing tried to climb through my visor as I went around a corner. I wasn't badly hurt, but the forks got buckled and the hedge had a nasty hole in it.
Also hit a dog a couple of years ago, the <can't think of anything insulting enough to put here> owner was walking alongside a dual carriageway with the dog not on a lead, and the idiot knew the dog had a tendency to try and play with bikes. Upshot was, I hit it at around 70. Luckily I was going fast enough and was upright enough to keep balance and remain on the bike.
Pedestrians have proved elusive so far.

Had to blast the horn to get a few pheasants to get out the way.

Other than that I've had nothing, not hit anything, not had anything hit me.

I watched a video of a bloke riding into a deer once though, that was impressive.

I`ve hit a few cats and foxes in my car, not to mention a suicidal pigdeon that exploded on contact when he hit my truck, at the time I was doing 70.

I went out to an RTA where a kid had tried to run over a bird in the middle of a road, missed it and lost control of the car, and then proceeded to launch himself off a ten foot embankment.

I bet the bird was sitting in the tree having a right laugh!

Hit a bird about the size of a large sparrow in the Focus once, tooling through the coutryside at about a ton. Also, I ran over a squirrel with only the back wheel, once. Doubt that completely put him out of his misery. Felt sorry for him for the whole rest of the ride as I'm sure he was just squirming in agony. Neutral Thumbs Down

I haven't hit any animals on my bike yet, although did take pleasure in scraping out 30+ dead wasps out of my air filter.

The only time i've hit an animal in a car was on purpose, was just coming off a roundabout and saw a rabbit that had already been run over and it's backend was crushed and the rabbit was trying to drag itself using its front paws. So I ran the rest of it over in a kind of mercy killing.

Just found this picture on the net, all I can say is jesus!
