I'm pondering getting my new thunderace resprayed. I've been quoted approx £350 for a single metallic colour respray, and laquering (over a die cut vinyl logo sticker that I'm providing), which includes some minor plastic repairs.

How does this sound pricewise?

That sounds reasonable compared to what i've been quoted - £800 for single colour all over. Never shopped around though..

A professional job or through someone you know?

I was told £300 for 1 single colour for the whole bike through a friend of a friend. And about £150 for a nose cone and 1 fairing panel. TBH I might even give it a go myself Laughing

Seems reasonable.

Sounds like a good deal. Same situation as myself but I've had to buy all the fairings again so money is tight, might just leave the bike multi-coloured till I can get it sprayed properly but that price seems pretty good.

I got a whole car done some years back for £600 through a pro that had access to his work facitlies at the weekend. Done a great job too.

Go for it, doubt you'll find it much cheaper TBH.

Cool.. thoght it sounded like a good deal..

I'm waiting for a wedge of cash to come thru from my separation, and that will pay off almost all my debts, and leave enough for the respray and custom graphics.

I'll post some pics when I get it done..

think it will be pretty unique. Prolly make it impossible to sell tho, but I don't care, cos I ride them till they die, either thru natural causes or by other, less pleasant means.
