Applied for the job of road tester at MCN.

It's a bit of a departure from sales, but I'm getting sick of it and I can't imagine anything better than abusing manufacturer's equipment - doing something you love (and do in your spare time anyway) whilst getting paid for it Thumbs Up

Oh well, they've probably had shed loads of entries but you never know if you don't try.

A friend down the road did a Lands end to John'o'groats trip on Enfields with a new MCN journalist for a centerpage spread. Think the bloke may have come from a sales background; he was finding it a bit tuff getting used to the hassle and the lack of money.

My uncle keeps telling me I should go for a job at MCN. I think basically because he wants free tickets to get into bike events and blag free goes on the latest kit! (Hmmm, doesn't everyone?)

I probably don't have the experience on a bike to go for a road testers job though.

I have a list of 15bikes that i dont want to ride, because i might start wanting them more than my 2 broken ones if i did, and im not allowed to buy any more bikes until i have a house/flat, which will effectively keep me from buying any more bikes for years anyway!
Its a shame because i reckon i could get a decent deal on a new Speedtriple from a local dealer that i know a friend of a mate who works for them!
