On tuesday when we were all trying to get to Lees house we pulled up at a trials bike place. Someone said they'll get all excited thinking about all the business.

Anyone know how much it costs there? You can use their bikes can't you? Are there any places closer to Manchester?

I'd really like to have a go at some proper off road riding, and I hear it's good for fitness so I'd be up for that instead of the tread mill Thumbs Up But is it going to cost too much to do it often?

I bought a bucket for 180 quid, completely rebuilt it and started using it as a dirt bike. Shes not as light or as responsive as the proper machines, but hell she can go, and with the size of that back sproket shes geared to climb a wall. I take her along the local track whenever the weather is nice, its hell on your forearms and your back but its well fun! So if you want to buy your own bike, dont go with the illusion that it has to be a supermoto, and if your renting, it shouldent cost more than around 40-50 quid to rent the bike

Buying and repairing an old banger and using that would be great yea, but where can you use them? I know around here they have some pretty quick looking Suzuki off roaders roaming around with police on them. I'm one of those wusses that likes to stay on the good side of the law Embarassed . So where can you go legally and use their bikes? (Can't be bothered with the cost of insuring an off roader just so I can get it to and from the place).
Would be prepared to spend up to a max of around 100 quid for a full day really. Maybe a bit more.
