YZF with bodged wiring.

Ever since I have had my YZF it seems that a lot of the wiring has been bodged. It has caused a couple of problems in the past but thanks to Keith (kickstart) it has been bodged some more in order to keep it running.
Problems have been:

A faulty wire running to the ignition barrel which meant that my bike cut out on the way to Cadwell last April. Keith came to the rescue and made a temporary repair to get the bike home and I later repaired that section of wiring.

Occasional loss of full beam, sorted by cleaning and repairing a broken block connector.

An immobiliser which decided that it would stop the bike from running whilst queing up to get onto the track at Cadwell. Keith to the rescue again as he figured out which bits of wiring were no longer needed (the immobiliser mainly) and he discovered that the fusebox wiring looked decidedly suspect (possibly).

After missing a wiring loom for the YZF750 on ebay I kept checking now and then for when another came up for auction. Last week I won such auction and recieved another wiring loom from a breakers yard advertising an intact wiring loom.
Now the question: Is it strange in the fact that this fusebox is wired up in exactly the same way, and is this how they are supposed to be The top fusebox is on the bike, the lower one is the one from ebay.
The fun bit is yet to come, fitting the damn thing .

looks like you just need to turn the bottom one over.

Hi

The brown wire is a main feed. It is powering all 4 fuses. Probably has its own fuse somewhere else.

One of the bottom wires is different it looks like. Has a brown wire 2nd from the left on one, red on the other.

Nah, they are wired the same. I just mentioned in IRC that the top wire feeds to a solid copper strip along the top and the lower pieces are seperate so must be wired properly.

I blame you for putting doubts in my mind .
