I hit a van at about 25mph about this time last year. Since then the scooter has been in the garage. Anyway i want to fix it up for my sister (mainly so my parents will buy it off me for her) anyway the steering is really stiff. I have had a look at the forks and they do not seem to be bent. Anyone have any ideas? Also would it be worth taking it down to a garage on a trailer and asking there?

I binned a rg400 many moons ago into a postbox, bike and I were fine(ish) but that had really stiff steering afterwards due to damaged head bearings locking up or trying to.

I would say if you have had a good look and can't find anything maybe the garage is a good idea especially if your not into the spanners...
