Incidentally, yes I would have preferred to leave some engine noise on, but my bulletcam mic broke so we got sod all sound.

Nice video, it is worth going along to one of the races if you can if not just to watch at the first corner. Smile

Great editing in that vid, choice of song negated the need for engine noise nicely Very Happy Thumbs Up

LOL at the guy who wheelie off the line near the end of the vid Laughing

Nice, you looked pretty smooth during the vid and some nice camera work too, especially spotting G half way across the track Thumbs Up

That's up to G-man. I reckon Cadwell would certainly be worth the hassle (you have to jump through hoops and get the camera signed off by various people).

We were going to do a rear facing camera in the final race but that was sadly cancelled. Couple of angles would add some interest. And I need a new mic. Smile

Nice video Thumbs Up.

I'm going to see what I can blag at Brands, so will do if I can.

Will see if I can get the paper work on the practice day and maybe get the bike scrutineered that day (though it will probably be dirty again Rolling Eyes.)

Any chance of some plain videos bendy (non edited, just the track time cut out?)
Wouldn't mind for 'educational' purposes; though I was kicking myself a lot during the races as I missed apex's etc.

Tight line into the hairpin so that other people don't do the same to me Smile.

It's very easy to do a 'block pass' there.
You get inside the other person, maybe braking slightly later, they can either try and go around the outside of you which is unlikely to be faster or follow you around on the inside line.

While the overtaker is actually going slower, the other person is forced to take the corner slower as well, because there's a slower bike in the way of their faster line.

Erm, if I'd got me bit of paper signed, one or two meetings, but I haven't yet.
(I didn't actually have it for the first meeting, and the end of the last one was a bit hectic.)

Whoever it was sneaked into rookie 6 and took left some of their yellow paint on my tyre at Snetterton Smile.

Hopefully everything will go a bit better at Brands (riding and filming); we actually missed the bit where I was doing well for the onboard stuff Sad.

Ah, I didn't realise it would be an issue to whack a bullet cam on there so long as it was secure. Oh well, finger's crossed you'll be able to get a few more over the season. Thumbs Up

You have to get it checked to be sure it's secure.

You also have to get permission from the circuit owner and promise not to sell it for profit etc.

I was trying the tight line into the hairpin too but found from watching the front runners that a wider in is best since it takes you round the outside of us tightliners and gives you better drive down the hill towards paddock. Deb got me at the hairpin in the Clubman shootout doing that very same thing. Well, we're not racing there again this year but it's still good to know.
