Indicators....

Has anybody replaced all 4 indicators on their NSR. And replaced them to 23w bulbs each.

I have done the front two, which increased the indicator speed.
So if i do the back two as well, will the speed be really mad?
Can the wiring cope with 4 x 23w ?

you need a 23w realay mate, i have replaced all 4. when i had to with the stardard realay they went really fast when u put all 4 on with the startard realay they don't work it works sound with a 23w realay not that expensive

So if i change the 23w bulbs to something smaller wattage, will this then make them flash slower....
Is that a possible solution.......

It should do... I did drop out of A level physics twice though... so I wouldn't take my word for it

What wattage bulbs did you replace the 23w ones with???
Where did you get them from?!?!

I have spent the afternoon TRYING to get hold of some smaller wattage ones. Apparently i can get hold of 12w, but the shop had run out (i hope!)
Everywhere else seems to only do 4w, which is a waste of time!

Another of my problems was that i need orange bulbs, as i am using iridium lenses. And NOBODY does orange bulbs...
So i went to a craft shop to get myself some orange glass paint.
And i cannot tell you how stupid i felt walking round a craft shop in full biker leathers!! Not really the right image i was after!!

i left the rear 1s as 23watt and put 5 watt in the front or maybe it was 4w but it works really well now

I've just put iridium indocators on the back, they look really nice, unitl I try to signal. Nothing happens -they just come on and the realy buzzes. Done some cals and recopn you need more like a 50W relay for all four. Any ideas where to get a bigger realy from cos it's an encased box unit with timer built in....Any ideas?

I bought my bike which had been dropped on the right hand side and both indicators gone, so I put the front right one onto the back left so basically I had both indicators at the back and none at the front for the time being, but the back left one comes on but does not flash, and the back right one just buzzes? any ideas????

if you have 23w bulbs (all 4) you will need a 23w realay
