YES.
The lights are attached to the rider and not the bike.
That makes it okay.

If you want a brake light as well check out these links Very Happy

I really like the idea of the rear brake lights on the helmet, I want some!

It would be cool to put these helmet lights on those new mirrored rear view helmets. Everything for the head! All we need is a chin piece mounted horn! Razz

How much better visibility do they give?

And how much do they cost?

Me thinks I might do that. Nokia battery is rechargeable too so no hassle there.

They don't overpower the dipped beam, but it makes other drivers see you a LOT easier. I was riding with him when he had his lid on and the difference is huge, you can actually make out the rider on the bike instead of just seeing the round headlight shape and thats it.

Does he sell it as a kit or what?! email address for him?

Could you get a photo of what is in the kit?

I think he could make quite a bit of money by selling these!

If you're not into DIY I see that there's some stuff you may be able to adapt from pedal cycles - see here for info.

Downside is the cost will be more than home made.

There's also another brake light that can be helmet mounted from bikeit.co.uk. It's under LED -3rd brake light on their site. Guess you'll have to find a dealer for it (site says trade only).

HTH Thumbs Up
