de restricting an nsr 125

hi,
i have a 03 nsr which is restricted.i know very little about working on bikes.can someone give me advice on getting the restricters out to give me extra power.
is it advisable??

Have a look at the de-restriction guide on NSR125.com which explains how to de-restrict NSR's. If its an import than it's likely to have other restrictors which depend really on what country its from I think.

Is it advisable? If you want some extra power and don't mind it being slightly illegal (if you're still on a CBT then it is but if you've passed either your 33bhp test or DAS then its fine) then it is advisable otherwise it's probably not a good idea. Lots of people do de-restrict their NSR's once they've got used to and bored with the 14.6bhp restriction.
