I have posted the following on another forum to get it out of my system (so now i suppose i'm just being malicious).

"Just received my replacement race fairing after returning the original order to Skidmarx because i was unhappy with it. The finish was awful and its as bad as the one i returned to them in the first place. They have used a mould from a road fairing and you can actually see the indentations where the headlight/indicators and pillionseat lock have been.
I paid £335 for this fairing believing i would get top quality but it is no where near as good as fairings i have bought for £200 (which came with Dzus fasteners). I would normally send it back for a refund but i'm racing shortly and i havnt got time to get a replacement from someone else. Any way I've got to go in the garage and get the filler out to see if i can remedy the situation.
Thats it - rant/moan over with - I just wanted to sound off at someone and the mrs is at work".
You have been warned!!!!

My NC29 ones(road though) fit very well after a small amount of dremelling, and sanding she fitted better than the original plastics did.

It's not malicious - I'll be looking for some track fairings when I've got some spare cash and now I know where not to go!

I was only joking with Kwaka, Silver!!
He's racing a ZX6R which I'm very glad off cuz it meant he had no need for his headlight, which I bought off him!! Thumbs Up

If i had the time to return the fairing (again) - I would. I have my first ever race on the 1st May and i cannot find anyone who can supply in less than 2 weeks and work constraints do not allow me to prepare a replacement in time. To be fair, the actual quality of the fibreglass used looks quite good and thick. Its just the finish on it - There are noticeable indents where the headlight/ indicators have been and the non existence of the shiny polish (i think its called gel coat). the whole fairing needs to filled and polished again.

ZX6 G2 - Just had it re-jetted and dyno'd and its doing 102 bhp without the ram air which (alledgedly) will give another 3 bhp or so. I'm happy with the speed and handling of the bike, i wish i was just as happy with the speed and handling of the rider.

Customer satisfaction must be way down their list of priorities. This fairing cost me £100 more than from the rival companies. If just one person chooses products other than Skidmarx because of this post, I'll be happy.

If anyone posts a reply to this topic, please realise that i am still completely f**ked off and will continue to moan and groan until you stop posting.
My missus says "thankyou" to you all cos whilst i'm ranting on here, i'm not ranting at her.
