hey im just looking at this oxford monster chain (1.5m) on this website https://www.gear4bikers.co.uk/ (if you want to see if its right at the bottom just above the ground anchor) and it says this chain and lock is worth £150 and they sell it for £90 i was just wondering if this is the only place that does this chain and lock for this price or do all the shops do it now? and also i need to know if its any good so if anyone out there wants to help a newbe biker please feel free to
also the only security i have for my DNA is a disc lock thats got one of thos old designs so that can be opened with a pen! and my uncles a biker so he lent me a chain till i can get 1 of my own
any help welcome |

Don't know you'll have to search mate.
Personally I wouldn't buy from gear 4 bikes again. I dealt with them once. They had to send the item twice because the first one got lost (so they said). When I did get the item it was no good for my bike (although their site listed it as the part for my bike). I returned it but they said they never got it. Had to claim my refund through Royal Mail.
Ste also had hassle with them last year (or the year before) the same week I did. |

I was just going to post to say that I was very happy with my service from them (although admittedly, all I bought was a spark plug and air filter) ordered on the Saturday, arrived Monday morning.
No idea about chains though.
Snip: Although, now I think about it, the website did have the wrong spark plug down as being for my bike. |

Thats gear4bikers.co.uk, not gear4bikes.com which is a different company with a bad choice of name.
No idea about the chain, have a look around other online shops and see if elsewhere is selling it. |

ok i have been looking around alot and decided to go with gear4bikers.co.uk as the chain is £90 in there but around £140 everywhere else, also ordered about 3 other bits and bobs, after all if i have any probs with them i can always pay them a visit with a petrol bomb (possible joke btw) |
