Hi,

Can someone please tell me how to fit the front left and right upper faring on an 2003 nsr125 Laughing

I've seen a replacement panels but am worried about removing the rivets in the windsheild.

The windscreen should be held in place by long nuts that look like rivets. If you look carefully into the centre of the 'rivet' you should see a tiny allan head, find the right key to undo and Robert's your Dad's brother. Thumbs Up

i do not think you have to take the rivets off . the windscreen is riveted on the front fork fairing and fixed with the mirrors . anyway if you need to , the rivets are hold by a special washer , which will be hard to dislodge . insert a screwdriver beetwwen the washer et pull with the blade alterning left & right . keep preciously those washers . to refit the new windscreen , put the rivet then the washer & force to push onto . the rivet is a bit conic , at the begining it's easy then comes harder . the washers are curved . i think you can buy new rivets and washers at https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk (ask tim , he is the best)

PS if you wish you can replace this rivets by allen bolts , which look quite nice
