Be aware that 'Traffic Wardens' in Greater Manchester' are being trained to use speed detection equipment and will soon be out enforcing such. The idea is to take the heat of the traffic bobbies but i can see there being evidential issues hampering its popularity.

I do believe that other areas are to follow in this idea but as far as i'm aware Manchester will be the first to operate it.

Hi

Is this even acceptable as evidence in court? Fairly certain it is not as the reading from a radar gun is only acceptable as corroboration of the opinion of a police officer.
