Just thinking who do you actually know that posts on BCF?
I'm guessing many folk come on and post but have never actually met anyone from the site.

When I first started posting I knew no one but have met a few folk now so who do you all personanlly know...?

I knew Hustler and Phoenix and a few others before I joined here. Have met a few of the regulars but local people like Dom, zxr400er, Hustler etc I see quite often (usually getting talked into giving people lifts to pick bikes up eh Jordan.. )

One of the things I like about BCF is that the regular posters do get together often and meet up in real life.

I already knew about a dozen people who post on here before I joined, have met about a dozen more since I've been here (not going to name them, sorry but I find that a little sad!), phoned or texted about a dozen more and I'm looking forward to meeting yet more this year whilst I'm out and about on my travels.

This is why it makes me laugh when we get trolls on here who always counter with the argumant "It's only the Internet, we're never going to meet in real life......" Well you may not be mate but I enjoy the social side of biking nearly as much as I enjoy the riding.

If you do go to meet somebody off here are a few rules:

Always tell somebody where you are going
Take your mobile incase of an emergency
Always take a friend
Arrange to meet in a public place
Dont take sweeties off them
Or accept a lift home

Remember you are more than likely going to meet somebody dressed from head to toe in leather

I didnt know anyone until I met stew to buy his NSR and then I hooked up with dean on the way to the BdB and met more and more people ever since.

I'd say i've met about 80% of the regulars on here.

I nearly met a few!!!!!!!! But missed them due to bad timing.
Since i bought the 600 i've been going a bit further and have alot more trips to England/ Wales/ Scotland planned. I hope to meet as many other bikers as poss so knowing you from the forum will help alot.
I am on another forum as well and hope to meet some of those people too.

Forgot to mention I've met valver (Dave) too all be it very briefly but he sorted my with a mudguard and some brand new-ish mirrors for much cheapness
