derestricting nsr 125 03 fastest acceleration

when i get my nsr, model stated in title, what would be the best method of derestricting it to get the accelearation the fastest, i am not really bothered about having the possibility to go 90+ i will never do that speed, bt i do want fast acceleration for the traffic lights

If it's a UK bike, go to www.nsr125.com and follow the guide on there.

It's very easy to say "I'll never do over 90mph" when you don't have a bike that does that. You may find it a little different when you can.

Ditto for a bike that does 160mph .

I totally agree with G, you say you'll never go over 90mph, but I sit at 90 on my XJ thinking, god I wish this damn thing went quicker...

You may want to consider downgearing to win more traffic light GPs, after derestriction anyway.

change your sprockets . you can either put a smaller front or a bigger back . on uk bike i know it's 13 - 35 . front are avaiable from 12 to 14 , rear from 34 to 42 . try to put a 12 in front without changing the rear , a front should be less than £8
