Can anyone help with a problem I've got with a cr250 1996 vintage?

It is burning gearbox oil like crazy.

It has had the following parts fitted and it still smokes like buggery:

Several sets of crank seals
New mains
a second set of crank cases
new primary drive nut and washer
cases lapped in
several new crankcase gaskets
half a ton of silicone sealant in the primary drive as a final measure

Plus a rebuild which it needed in the first place, recon crank, barrel replate and piston kit.

It is Reeeeaaaallly doing my head in now... i dont want to strip the motor again!

Anyone any ideas? all I can think of at the moment is the oil is getting sucked up the exhaust valve actuator arm tunnel but its one hell of a way for it to go.....
