I take it most of you saw the Moto GP last Sunday.......... amazing. Rossi truley is a master! *bows

But what about today! Gibernau being in front and having an off. I wouldnt be surprised if he tops himself, poor old boy......... Barros didn't look as though he was too bothered about it though......hehe.

May seem cruel but I was hoping it would lash down with rain to see the pitlane rush. Embarassed

So no-one else worried about the riders' safety with the new 'white flag' ruling? Shocked
I know they have the choice to come in and change bikes but unless its lashing it down AND the others go in too... noone will do it and therefore they're risking a lot for the sake of TV schedules.
Personally I think the rule will only last until someone gets seriously hurt and then they'll see sense.
Anyone agree or are you all sadistic and enjoy the crashes? Confused

Yeah, OT: I do wonder whey the hell they thought of making it a 650. They only went and made it uglier too.

What have they changed then? Couldn't they have just un-de-tuned the engine to give a bit more power? coz isn't the bandit engine a de-tuned gixxer engine?

*shrug* No idea, but I'm planning on swapping to a 600 bandit next month (if all goes to plan). Just never seen the point of making it look uglier.

Changes seem to be primarily the suspension, introduction of abs, the cosmetics, losing 4kg on it and just generally making it more "rider friendly". Confused

I'd like a bandit6, the way money is at the moment and the lack of full liscence i think it will have to be a 125 for another year till im 19.

Err, somewhat off topic hehee, but did ANYBODY ELSE ACTUALLY WATCH THE RACE. I feel like the woman in the Bandit 650 shoulda won the race especially with the fat bloke with that south african accent on the back.

Seriously, my thoughts on it was that there was a bloody stupendous 250 race which we'd like to see more off -unlucky for Chaz dumping his bike. Stoner's last minute charge was pretty good, although i felt somewhat sorry for Porto who led for most of the race and then fell backwards like a stone.

Gibernau Rolling Eyes Shocked , a wet weather wizzard usually, but junked it on the first corner while in the lead. Barros deserved that victory.

Any of you see the Hoffman Clip! What a terrible shame, it looks like the guys were seriously enjoying themselves down in Cascais - trust me when i went, it was a crisp and beautiful december day in the Sintra/Estoril region.

I wanted to see a rider pit too and not liked to have seen a couple of good people bin it (calling Gibernau, Edwards, Hopper et al).

As soon as i heard about the new 'white flag' rule i thought it was a bad idea. No rider is going to pit in and lose all that time unless all the riders around him do,however i do think the rule will work if it suddenly lashes it down with loads of laps to go. I doubt the rain on sunday was hard enough have stopped the race under the old rules.

Well, that was another boring wet race. The first few laps were good but then once it got a bit slippy it turned into a real procession.

Such a shame Sete lost it, but then he does have no-one to blame but himself. Big ups for Edwards and Bayliss - both coming back from falls to finish in the points. A good race for Biaggi, it was good to see him staying with Rossi.

Did anyone else notice Barros's gut? Razz

Roll on China.
