Just wondering how often carbs need checking/balanced on 600s.

I have a thundercat and was just wondering if I need to get it checked etc.
I guess all it takes to find out is by checking the spark plugs and see what colour they are etc.

It needs to balanced after the carbs have been removed & cleaned which also includes a valve clearance check too, but a periodic check is much better to prevent prior to going on holiday on a long bike trip to make sure everything is perfect before travelling. Also maybe checking it before/after winter. This helps with fuel economy and a gives a smoother reaction when using the throttle and like they say prevention is better than a cure!
