hi i was wondering if anyone could tell me what the likely cause of my bike reall vibrating sometimes recently? i have changed the chain and sprockets recently could that have a bearing? Confused its mainly at the top of the gear just before i change up.

Have you got the tension in the chain right, i.e a loose chain could be causing the vibs.

Could be wheel bearings and so get someone told the stearing still while you attempt to twist the wheel left/right and if it does move and you may hear a click sound then you'll need to change the bearings, but do also check the rear wheel's and the swing arm for left/right movement

i'll check that tonight, i did check it about a week ago but chains do stretch when first put on don't they? i'll have another look, cheers wn, if anyones got any other possibles be grateful to hear them.

Try not redlining it Wink
Change up before you get to that red bit on your rev counter and you might find the poor engine is a bit smoother Razz

good call method but im a good boy lol my bike never revs above 8000 redline at 10.5 so im good lol

thats not far off the redline, you sure your not just revving the tits off the engine and its vibrating due to the high revs? most bikes do it, especially small strokers. my 50cc Gilera GSM vibrated like a mofo in every gear and every rev Razz

well see the main power band thing kicks in at 6.5 - 7000 revs. I wouldn't been bothered by it but its only recently started doing it. i'm thinking it might be bearings too Crying or Very sad got my test soon as well
