I'm looking for an allen head m14 x 1.5 bolt. Needs to be about 150mm long or there abouts.

Any ideas where I could order one from?

There is a warehouse near me who will probably have it, erm, I dont know the actual name of the company though.

Ill look it up if you cant find it elsewhere but they have pretty much all bolts in all grades of steel, from tiny 1mm type things to gigantic industrial bolts too heavy to pick up.

Try your local iron mongers as they usually stock a variety of them and if they are any good like my local one they will cut it to your required length.

Cheers for the replies.

WishayKillie: none of those do them

Scotsman: my local doesn't do m14 in this pitch, as it's an odd size.
Nor does the place they reccomended to try.

Can you not look in your Yellow pages book and look for a local machinist/lathe turner that can custom make bolt/screws to customer's requirements as I know of one in Glasgow's Trongate area and so there maybe like that in your neck of the woods?

I'm really looking for somewhere that 'does' them.

I'm sure that I can get one made up, one way on another.

Cheers for the replies, but anyone got any suggestions for somewhere that does a wide range or such things.

I want it for a crash mushroom which has had a previously stripped and repaired thread.
