Might be worth giving these a bell (if they're still operating they're almost certain to be at the Stafford show)

Now that's nice
I bet it's small though? I went to Matlock Bath with my dad a few weeks back, and there was a similar looking classic Honda there; my dad said he couldn't be sure if it was the 250 or the 350. It looked really nice but was physically tiny... Made modern 125s look large.
I really like that style though. My dad has a cb550 and I quite like it, but compared to the pictured bike and earlier brit bikes of the same style, the cb550 is fugly. I can't really see how trends could change so much over the course of a decade... ____________________ Hard livin', hard luck. |

That'd be a CB 72 (250cc)
https://www.hjemloese-mc.dk/medlemmer/jens/cb72.jpg
Electric start, single OHC, twin leading shoe front brake, they'd give a 500cc Triumph a good run
or a CB 77 (350cc but I think they were only actually 305cc)
The kickstart on these worked forwards instead of backwards! |

Yeah, that looks about right. Something like that would make a great second bike, to take out on sunny days and go pose in scenic places Are they expensive? Though I guess it would cost loads to do one up authentically as a project... ____________________ Hard livin', hard luck. |
