uh ooooooh......not another. Laughing

It's their choice at the end of the day - I just cringe when I see people doing it. Especially people with raw white legs. Good god man...

Could just be a small trip across town or to get to some destination close by. Confused Beats me.

Because they want to, they don't need any other reasons.

Let people make their own choices, if they want to wear shorts when on a bike then let them, I'm sure that they're well aware that crashing will hurt more if you're wearing shorts than it would if you're wearing leathers but thats a risk they're willing to take.

i really do not care what other people wear on thier bikes, its thier personal choice, if they want to take the risk of not wearing the proper gear then if they fall off then they obviously take the consequences!!

Don't forget that there are a growing number of kevlar lined denim jeans and jackets available now which are more than up to the job of saving your skin in a spill.

At first glance its very hard to tell the difference (I've often been 'told off' for wearing them Shocked ) and its possible that some of the riders you saw will be wearing these. If you look more closely you will notice lines of double stitching around the hips, knees etc which give them away.

I don't really have a choice as I suffer from quite severe eczema and find the denim, as its much cooler to wear than leather, doesn't bring me out in an itchy rash Thumbs Up

I'm more concerned with the huge rise in sausage-related injuries we are currently seeing.

Won't someone PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN?

The Americans appear to do it all the time and so don't seem to care about saving their skin at all.

I saw a woman the other day riding pillion only wearing shorts, the problem was that she has got a huge fat arse. Sick

Now at this point i couldn't care about her safety i was more worried about my lunch being bought back up!

I mean what if a poor child had seen that it would have scared them for life......poor kids Very Happy

Not too bothered. On a hot day I will go out in only my gloves and helmet, and whatever im wearing. Most probably a hoodie and jeans.
But I have my Textile or leather jacket under my seat incase im going on a big road or it get cold / wet.

If im just going down a road I know very well, then ill go in whatever im wearing.
