You have to replace BOTH fork seals, not just the leaking one.. and they are dirt cheap anyway Laughing

It looks pretty OK upon first viewing but then again it was PISSING down when i went to have a look. Cosmetically it looked OK for a bike that age, but then Ric pointed out the many problems it had. It had a few missing screws and stuff. Woudn't mind buying it if i had the silly money in the first place.

If youre at home - give FC Trott a buzz down near pinner as they might be able to source up some spares.

its a 94 L reg, blue, its a bit of a mess, fork seals, few scuffs, rust etc

basically

its getting stipped, sprayed (wen i can get some practice), derusted + painted, exhaust weld polish, fork seals, clocks sorted, bits and bobs really, major tiding generally

bin stood for 3 years tho so loads of rust and carbs need balancing

engines strong and from the MOT's it had looks like its only on about 15000 miles max altho the new clocks (im MPH) instead of original Km's say like 280000 theres no way it jumped from 4200km in 2001 to 280000 miles when its painly bin left sitting, tyres are new and have the 3yr old recipts

Titz

mate have had bad experiences with trott and hes not cheap at all, i wouldnt want to give him my cash

Generally its a shoe string budget

bike is here

https://www.bikepics.com/members/supersonicaprilia/91zxr400/

only good fairings on it are the left one and the two rears. The rest was smashed along with the clocks and bent frame.
I'll find out what he wants for the system and get back to you.
Cheers

It went down on the left but had R&G crash bungs fitted so the fairing is intact as are the engine casings. TBH it barely slid anytime before it hit the car.
He said to contact him here-
chonga_3@hotmail.com
and he'll let you know about the prices he wants for the race system etc.
cheers

Oh right, I assumed from your post it'd fell on the right side as you said the left fairing was OK. Thumbs Up
