I'm afraid it's not that easy with insurance, there is no one cheapest company otherwise everyone would just use them and the other would go bust.

Your best bet is to get something like Bike Trader and call ALL the insurance companies in the back to get quotes. Once you've got a big list of quotes call back around the cheapest few asking if they can beat the quoe of £xyz you have. Repeat until none will go any lower.

It'll take a few hours but if you look at how much money you're saving in those few hours it's worth doing.

Leathers, if there's a Hein Gericke near you have a look in there, or just look in local bike shops. Thumbs Up

Nuff said really.

Just re-enforce the point.

The money you save is directly related to the number of places you call, there will always be that one company that wants to give you personally the best deal... so spend an hour or two ringing around and you'll get the best deal.

Yeah its all about playing the companies (Gits) ogainst each other, it has been suggested that you get cheaper policies towards the end of the month as the companies have monthly targets to reach, if you need a list of companies have a look here

Basically if they want your custom they will give a low quote, if they want to brush you off without saying no, they will just give you a large quote. Smile

I hunted everywhere for my last quote.
I hought i'd found the best people to go with: Bike Team but they turned out to be useless lying bastards that pissed me around, quoted me one thing and wanted me to pay for another!

In the end i went with 1st Quote. I'd never heard of them before, but they were by far the cheapest, even offering me a cheaper policy than the one their system quoted!

Just goes to show, you have to hunt around ALOT. I found it best to keep a record in Excel of all quote's together with cover, company nae, and quote refference number. That way if things don't work out, you have a record of your other uotes to pick the second best out of! Thumbs Up

You have to spend a day on the phone for the insurance. No other way really.

Oh it's even more fun when you find out that 5 numbers all go through to the same company. Laughing
